Getting Started with FlowNurture

Everything you need to set up FlowNurture, capture your first leads, and send your first campaign — in under 30 minutes.

This guide walks you through everything you need to go from zero to a working email marketing setup in FlowNurture. By the end, you'll have contacts, a form, and your first campaign or workflow.

Step 1: Create your account

Sign up at flownurture.com/signup. The Free plan includes:

  • Up to 1,000 contacts
  • 1,000 emails per month
  • 3 workflows
  • Landing pages and forms
  • Nura AI onboarding assistant

No credit card required.

Step 2: Verify your sender details

Before sending any emails, configure your sender information:

  1. Go to Settings → Sender
  2. Enter your sender name and email address
  3. Follow the verification steps

Don't skip this

Emails sent from an unverified sender address may be rejected by recipient mail servers. Verify your sender before creating campaigns or activating workflows.

Step 3: Import or capture contacts

You have three options:

Import existing contacts

Go to Contacts and click Import CSV. Map your columns to FlowNurture fields (email, first name, last name, company, etc.) and import.

Create a form

Go to Templates → Forms and create an embedded or popup form. Place it on your website to capture new leads automatically.

Create a landing page

Go to Templates → Landing Pages and build a dedicated capture page with the visual editor. Share the link directly or embed it on your site.

Step 4: Create your first segment

Segments let you group contacts by rules — lifecycle stage, tags, lead score, engagement, or any contact field.

  1. Go to Audience → Segments
  2. Click Create Segment
  3. Add a rule like "Lifecycle stage equals SUBSCRIBER"
  4. Name it and save

You can now target this segment in campaigns and workflows.

Step 5: Send your first campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns → New Campaign
  2. Enter a name and subject line
  3. Build the email body using the visual editor
  4. Select your segment as the audience
  5. Review and send (or schedule for later)

Step 6: Build your first workflow

  1. Go to Workflows → Create Workflow
  2. Choose "Start from scratch" or use a template
  3. Add steps: SEND_EMAIL, DELAY, CONDITION
  4. Activate when you're ready to start enrolling contacts

Use templates to start faster

FlowNurture includes pre-built workflow templates for common use cases — welcome sequences, trial nurture, re-engagement, and more. Browse them in the workflow creation flow.

Step 7: Explore AI features

Depending on your plan, you have access to:

Nura is available immediately in the sidebar. AI Writing appears inside the email and landing page editors. AI Copilot appears on Workflows, Segments, Campaigns, Contacts, and Analytics pages.
